Lots of exciting things are going on here in the Lincoln area in August. Art in the park is taking place in Hooper Park August 10th and 11th 2013. Annie Allen of Roasted is hosting a women's retreat the 23rd, 24th and 25th. Go to her site for details. She is on my links page...... It's going to be a great time, as always here and there will, no doubt, be an huge amount of creative creatures running around these parts.....Come on out! |

Just had to share how wonderful the weekend was even though it threatened to rain on us, it did not! We had 20+ booths of artists from around the area and Idaho.
There was live entertainment of really peaceful tunes and a book reading.
There was demonstrations. The atmosphere was very pleasant with conversation, not only with the other artists, but with folks coming to view the artists work. Some individuals just stopped in that were passing by on 200....It was a great event.
This was the first year back after many and hopefully it'll be an even bigger turn out next year.

I wish to extend the warmest wished to the wonderful souls that participated in the 1st women's retreat of Lincoln, MT. It was hosted by Annie Allen from Roasted at the Lumberjack Inn B&B.....Just fantastic is all I can say.
The wonderful souls that ventured there, brought with them a willing spirit to learn new ways to create within them selves and to share ideas and warmth of the spirit. It was a very relaxing time with no pressure,(easy for me to say). I can speak for myself saying it was a learning and sharing experience for me and I am very revived because of it.
I was also blessed with the selling of merchandise, but most importantly got to spread my wings on sharing my own trade. This was such a delight to share and teach the women that were there to learn the art of making a wonderful necklace to take home. They took "The Retreat" home with them as a memory of the time we shared together.
I am so happy to have accepted the awesome gift of being taught by 3 other wonderful souls at that reviving paradise. The art of earth amulet for an individual blessing upon us all, by Annie. The wonderful weaving of a pine needle basket in double,(2 of the baskets) by Debbie and Batik by Annie. Then I learned something by the beautiful soul Jana as well....She taught us how to create a book to lay our spirits out on. I am ever so grateful for these gifts.....It was great.
I am spreading the news so there will be a great flow of women retreats in the future and the like....! Bless us one and all!
